Henriey Adame – Operations Director | Secret Sushi

Henriey is the Operations Director for Secret Sushi and assists with the strategy and implementation of GSMS projects. While he finds a great deal of joy working on design and development projects, Henriey’s favorite part about working at Secret Sushi is that he gets to watch his best friend, Adam – the Founder of Secret Sushi, grow as a good human and as a leader.

Outside of work, Henriey finds his joy in nature and in helping others. A self-proclaimed extroverted-introvert, you can find Henriey leading group exercise classes, being outdoors, and photographing nature.

Henriey has extensive experience in the non-for-profit arena with more than 25 years in many different capacities. Henriey beat all the odds and recently obtained his Bachelors in Sociology (2020), Magna Cum Laude, with zero education debt after nearly 15 years of part-time school and full-time work. He has a Certificate in Exercise Nutrition (2019), Personal Training Certificate (2018), and a Guiding Mindful Change life coaching Certificate (2016). His personal mantra is “seek first to understand”.

Henriey has experience in program design, project management, small and large group facilitation, leadership, grant management, fundraising, administration, operations, security, staff development, and leadership development. He has an education related to addressing social issues, identifying disparities, and engagement in solution-oriented behaviors in small and large group settings.

Henriey is also a personal trainer and group exercise instructor and has immensely enjoyed helping others on their path through sweat, compassionate conversations, and tears. He teaches Yoga, Pilates, Kettlebells, Spin, HIIT, and TRX with passion.
