Brandon Roberts Receives USACE CQM-C Certification

Brandon Roberts
Deputy General Manager, Grey Snow Construction

Congratulations to Brandon Roberts, Deputy General Manager of Grey Snow Construction, LLC (Grey Snow Construction). Brandon earned a United States Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management for Contractors (USACE CQM-C) certification in January after attending training and testing in October 2022. The certification is valid for five years.

According to the US Army Corps of Engineers website, this training and certification aim to “familiarize all quality management personnel with the Corps construction quality management policies and procedures.” US Army Corps of Engineers construction contracts require this certification to be held by the prime contractor.

“This certification is the US Army Corps of Engineers’ standard for how various federal agencies’ projects are run and inspected,” says Fletcher Burton, General Manager of Grey Snow Construction. “It is the backbone of our construction process. The Grey Snow Companies now holds this certification through Brandon. It is a historic accomplishment!”

The mandatory certification takes a planning-focused approach to quality management. This approach ultimately benefits the Federal Government and contractors alike, improving quality and productivity, reducing tear-outs, and increasing the likelihood of future Federal Government construction project contracts.
